Gigaom Roadmap, the only experience design conference specifically for the technology industry, is less than one week away. Being held November 5-6 in San Francisco, Roadmap will feature designers and entrepreneurs who are building the next generation of user experience and connected products.

Great design is more than what can be seen on the outside. While well-designed gadgets and colorful packaging are important, what matters most is the overall user experience. It is the narrative that ultimately marries a consumer to a brand. But designing that kind of experience isn’t easy. Some of the most innovative thinkers at the front of the experience design movement will take the stage at Gigaom Roadmap, including:

  • Erik Spiekermann, Edenspiekermann
  • Kevin Systrom, Instagram
  • Tony Fadell, Nest
  • Josh Brewer, Twitter
  • Jack Dorsey, Square
  • Alexis Maybank, Gilt Groupe
  • Franz Von Holzhausen, Tesla Motors
  • Jonah Jones, Google
  • Mark Rolston, frog
  • Kirsten Green, Forerunner Ventures
  • Robert Brunner, Ammunition
  • Michelle Lam, True&Co.
  • Julie Horvath, GitHub
  • Joe Gebbia, Airbnb
  • John Maeda, Rhode Island School of Design
  • Sean Rad, Tinder
  • Shoshana Berger, IDEO
  • Braden Kowitz, Google Ventures
  • Ilana Stern, Weddington Way

“The branded experience is the essence of the modern company,” says Om Malik, founder of Gigaom and co-chair of Roadmap 2013. “The best among them will be at Roadmap presenting their biggest and best experience design ideas.”
