Washington Street Senior Residence, located at 400 North Washington Street, is one of the chosen projects geared to help guide redevelopment opportunities in downtown Kokomo.

Mayor Greg Goodnight has also expressed strong support and listed Washington Street Senior Residence as the highest tax credit priority by giving the development five (5) points.

Area 5 Agency on Aging will act as the service coordinator, planning programs and services that include: in-home meals, referral services, loaned medical equipment, transportation, and regularly scheduled activity programs, just to name a few. In addition, a resident association will be formed by an elected resident liaison.
