Nottingham, East Midlands (PRWEB UK) 1 November 2013 -- View the photographs on the Getty Image’s UK site (includes full details on how to acquire high resolution versions), here: http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/Search/Search.aspx?p=alex+livesey&family=editorial&contractUrl=1&ep=Contour.
Britain’s Sochi hopefuls were photographed by Alex at the start of the Olympic season and the multiple exposure shots capture and demonstrate the precision and power involved in short track speed skating.
Alex Livesey said: “It was cool working with the GB Short Track team and I want to thank everyone for their time and enthusiasm in making this photo shoot happen. I hope everyone is as happy with the results as I am.”
The final results were so spectacular that the images earned a place on Getty’s high-end editorial site Contour, which usually features celebrity portraits and modelling images from the world of fashion and beauty.
Richard Shoebridge who will be travelling to Turin next week for the first of the Olympic Qualifying events said: “It was a great experience for all of us involved and it was something completely different to our day to day training. The final results are truly something special, Alex and the guys did a great job. They’ve really brought out the colours in our race suit and made the Union Jack really stand out, ideal for the Olympic year.”
Also photographed were Richard’s relay team mates Jon Eley, Paul Stanley and Jack Whelbourne, along with Elise Christie and Charlotte Gilmartin from the women’s squad.
