Florida Restaurant Franchise Group (FRFG) Completes Another EB-5 Success Story
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- The Florida Restaurant Franchise Group has completed yet another EB-5 success story with the opening of another VooDoo BBQ and Grill restaurant earlier this month in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is the third South Florida location to open this year for the award-winning New Orleans-style BBQ restaurant chain. With their newest location at 6312 N. Andrews Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309 (at the intersection of Cypress Creek Rd. & N. Andrews Avenue) in what is being called “Uptown Fort Lauderdale”.
"Fort Lauderdale is a great location for the newest VooDoo BBQ & Grill," said Joe Sloboda, President of Florida Restaurant Franchise Group (the company responsible for developing VooDoo BBQ Restaurants in Florida). The other South Florida stores are located in Pembroke Pines and Kendall with additional units scheduled to open Hollywood, Boca Raton and Miami in 2014. The group plans to open 26 locations throughout the State of Florida over the next 4 years.
“VooDoo BBQ & Grill brings together favorite American BBQ styles and then kicks them up a notch with Caribbean, Cajun and Creole spices to create our unique New Orleans-style BBQ,” said Mr. Sloboda. VooDoo BBQ has become famous for our homemade sides with a decidedly southern drawl like Gris Gris Greens, Corn Pudding and Sweet Potato Soufflé, he said.
VooDoo BBQ & Grill is being developed in Florida by the BBQ Boyz, LLC and the Florida Restaurant Franchise Group (FRFG) which is partially funding VooDoo BBQ’s development with financing through the U.S. government’s EB-5 Visa program. This program allows foreigner to investors to receive green cards for them and their families by investing into US businesses that create jobs for Americans in the local area. “It’s an exciting time for us and we are very proud of our continued success. We have had tremendous success with our EB-5 projects and we continue to raise EB5 funds for what is now our 8th EB5 offering. Investors in our previous sold-out phases of development have all have been approved by USCIS with our projects creating more than 2x the required jobs upon completion,” Mr. Sloboda said.
In addition to their popularity among foreign investors FRFG’s EB-5 project offerings have been very appealing to EB-5 agents, consultants, and U.S. Immigration attorneys because they are a relatively small in size with a good mix of developer cash and EB-5 funds. “Our model is proven and accepted by USCIS. We have worked for years to improve the FRFG EB-5 offerings so that they are successful, conservative and can realistically achieve the goals for our EB-5 partners in a short period of time. We are currently offering our 8th project to continue to develop successful national restaurant brands and create much needed jobs here in Florida. To date our projects have been responsible for the creation of almost 1,000 jobs in the South Florida. The continued success of our restaurants and our EB5 projects are proven with USCIS and our EB-5 partners continue to enjoy simple and successful Immigration processing by investing in our projects. “The approvals and success of our projects are real validation from USCIS that we are managing a credible job creating enterprise,” said Mr. Sloboda.
