With ELM's real-time monitoring, alerting, and reporting, Administrators and IT staff can monitor the health and status of distributed systems and devices from a centralized location. The ELM Console has been overhauled to improve navigation and flow to Monitoring Categories, Event Views, and Notification Methods. Categories have also been expanded to include both Monitoring and Maintenance for more precise control of system organization and function.
This new feature is based on ELM's already powerful Event View technology and combines Filters for 'Start' events together with advanced filters and automated timers for 'End' Events, providing a powerful tool for any event monitoring environment or situation.
Another new feature introduced in ELM Enterprise Manager 6.7 is the ability to add a "Maintenance Window." Assigning systems to the new Maintenance Categories disables the launching of notifications during scheduled maintenance when the systems may be offline or generating events which would unnecessarily trigger notifications and distract from operations.
New Reporting Formats
The ELM Editor reporting engine now features the popular PDF as well as CSV format for report output. These new formats will allow users to distribute and customize reports to their liking even more easily.

ELM Editor now allows you to quickly and easily assign reports to specific Monitoring Categories or groups of systems within your environment. This new shortcut option makes customizing reports even easier.
Adjusting reporting time frames is also faster now through simple, built-in shortcuts. These can be used to quickly produce and deliver a report for a specific time frame without any query building or extra steps. Reports can also be generated more quickly with a preview option before scheduling the report, making setup and maintenance much faster.
Service Agents now have a more complete end-to-end heartbeat monitoring option which is especially helpful on some quieter systems. A regularly scheduled event is triggered to keep administrators informed that systems are still operational, even with little other activity being logged.
