Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- Mr. Buck has more than forty years experience in the clinical laboratory industry with particular emphasis on regional laboratory consolidation and integration, business strategy and pathology relationships. Previously, Mr. Buck was an owner and COO of Chi Solutions, Inc., the largest clinical laboratory consultancy in the U.S. In this role, Mr. Buck was responsible for the service delivery elements of the company as well as the day to day operation. Mr. Buck retired from these responsibilities in October 2012. Before joining Chi Solutions, Inc., Mr. Buck was Executive Director of Duke University Health System Clinical laboratories.

Mr. Buck received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Minnesota and his MT (ASCP) certification following completion of the U.S. Navy program in Medical Technology. He completed graduate coursework in Systems Management at the University of Southern California and in Business Administration at the University of Northern Iowa. A member of the Clinical Laboratory Management Association for thirty years, Mr. Buck served on its Board of Directors for 12 years and in elected offices leading to President of the association. He is also a member of the American Pathology Foundation. Additionally, Mr. Buck has significant training in Quality Improvement and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, with application experience in both hospital and commercial laboratory settings.
