Chocolate Pizza Company’s fifth store is opening at 17111 Kenton Drive, Suite 101B in Cornelius, NC in the heart of the Lake Norman resort area and just minutes north of Charlotte. Proprietor Michelle Street will host a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting on Wednesday, November 6, with local business and community leaders. The public is invited.

"I want to invite everyone to explore our beautiful 1,400 sq foot store and enjoy free samples of the company’s gourmet chocolate," Street says. "Bring the family and your holiday shopping list!" Street, a former senior executive with a local software development firm, is excited to open what she anticipates will be the first of several Chocolate Pizza Company stores in the area.

Featured on Food Network, Chocolate Pizza Company gets its name from its signature product, Chocolate Pizza! Made from premium milk or dark chocolate blended with homemade English toffee and poured into pizza pans, Chocolate Pizza is topped with nuts or candies and a white chocolate drizzle and served in a genuine pizza box. Paired with the company’s exclusive Peanut Butter Wings™ – rippled potato chips covered in creamy peanut butter and dipped in chocolate – the two confections offer a one-of-a-kind "Pizza and Wing Combo" that make the perfect gift for any occasion. Chocolate Pizza Company also creates over 100 specialty treats including Drumsticks, Caramel S’mores, Pecan or Cashew Clusters and Chocolate Pizza Slices in a rainbow of varieties and does corporate gifts like Chocolate Towers and gift baskets.

Novak says, "Opening a Chocolate Pizza Company store in the Charlotte area brings our unique and delicious chocolate to the Southeast and reinforces our presence as an emerging national brand. Michelle’s professional experience, energy and drive are ideal for creating a retail destination where customers will find the perfect gourmet chocolate gift for business or pleasure."

Novak bought Chocolate Pizza Company, a 25 year old manufacturer of gourmet chocolates headquartered in Marcellus, New York, in 2010 at the age of 21 and has quadrupled sales since then.
