Torque Sports & Performance Partners with, Liz Carmouche, UFC Female World Championship Contender and sponsors UFC Fight for the Troops
(PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- Torque Sports and Performance is proud to announce an annual partnership with professional UFC fighter, Liz Carmouche. Liz will fight against Alexis Davis, in the co-main event, during the UFC Fight Night “Fight for the Troops” live nationally on Fox Sports 1. The event will be located, on base, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky in support of the Troops. In addition to Carmouche, Torque will be sponsoring five more UFC veterans November 6th; Colton Smith, George Roop, Jorge Masvidal, Yoel Romero, and Bobby Green.
Carmouche was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and grew up in Okinawa, Japan. Liz currently resides in San Diego, California. Prior to becoming a professional MMA fighter, Carmouche spent five years in the United States Marine Corps as a helicopter electrician during which she did three tours of duty in the Middle East.
Liz, 29, began her pro career in 2010, rattling off five straight wins before earning a shot at then-Strikeforce bantamweight queen Marloes Coenen. She now holds a professional record of 8-3 as she steps into the UFC Octagon for the third time.
