Behavioral Innovations Announces New Location for San Antonio West Therapy Center
San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- Behavioral Innovations, the premier provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for families of children with Autism and other developmental disorders, announces a new location for it’s San Antonio West center.
The new center, located just miles from its previous location, and in close proximity to the Randolph Air Force base, outgrew its initial location. “We have much more space in our new center and look forward to being able to serve more families, while providing more social opportunities for the kids,” said Carla Edwards, Co-founder of Behavioral Innovations.
A community event and ribbon cutting ceremony took place on October 19 and marked the opening of the new location. “Behavioral Innovations welcomed the opportunity to celebrate the expansion of services available for families with special needs children within San Antonio. It was a great turnout, and we were impressed by the amount of energy and enthusiasm created by all the people who participated in the event,” said Lindsay Vick, regional coordinator for Behavioral Innovations.
Now with the expansion, the company is able to provide speech services to it’s families in both locations through a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. “We also plan to host more parent training workshops at our new location, the workshops are open to the community and address topics such as positive reinforcement and potty training, topics that parents are interested in learning more about”, said Vick.
Behavioral Innovations currently offers San Antonio families center-based ABA services including full and part time day programs, assessments, early intervention services, educational services for partnership and collaboration with local school districts, adult services and specialized services as needed.
