Atlanta-Based Intellum Helps Make-A-Wish Foundation Grant a Few Extra Wishes
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- Christa Dallmann, Director of Learning and Development for Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks Intellum for its generous support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s mission.
Recently, Make-A-Wish selected Intellum’s Exceed learning management system (LMS) to power their Make-A-Wish University – the corporate university which houses the learning and development opportunities for all employees in the organization’s 61 national chapters and Phoenix headquarters.
“Make-A-Wish University is the home of all of our learning and development programs. The education and training we provide through this university supports our employees in our mission to grant wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions. Intellum’s Exceed LMS is the nucleus of the university; their software holds everything together,” explained Ms. Dallmann, Director of Learning and Development for Make-A-Wish.
“Before Exceed, we were using a competing solution; however, our previous LMS simply didn’t have the functionality to support our growth. Our solution just wasn’t dynamic. We wanted a partner to bring us into the future.”
After an exhaustive search, Make-A-Wish selected Intellum’s Exceed LMS thanks to the platform’s robust features, the company’s well-known commitment to customer service, as well as Intellum’s commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission.
Matt Gilley, Co-Founder and Principal of Intellum explained, “We’ve seen the wonderful things Make-A-Wish does, not only for the Atlanta community, but for children around the world. All of us at Intellum are passionate supporters of the Make-A-Wish mission, and want to do anything we can to help support the organization.”
“With the Make-A-Wish Foundation, like with all our clients, our first goal was to ensure they were able to achieve a positive return on investment from our solution. It might sound like a cliché, but we truly think of our customers as family. How can we best support their needs? We ask ourselves this question every time we enter into an engagement.”
Mr. Gilley continued, “With non-profits like Make-A-Wish, we are especially sensitive to their needs, and do everything we can to ensure that their resources are being used in support of their mission.”
Ms. Dallmann said, “When researching potential partners, we not only examined the features and benefits of the individual platforms, but also spoke extensively with references. With non-profits, sometimes companies will sell you a solution with favorable terms, and then disappear. Customer service goes right out the window. When we spoke with Intellum’s non-profit customers, they had nothing but wonderful things to say.”
Ms. Dallmann continued, “Since we’ve signed-on with Intellum, our experience has been wonderful. From the executives, to the account folks, to the technical support staff, everyone has been hands-on, willing to talk to us whenever we need help, and are always quick to respond to emails. Kate [Intellum’s Director of Professional Services] even flew out to our Phoenix offices to walk us through the roll-out. We really appreciate their availability and hands-on customer service.”
Mr. Gilley concluded, “To have an opportunity to work with an organization like Make-A-Wish, that does such tremendous things for children, has been an absolute gift for us. We feel lucky that we’re able to support them in their work.”
