Let the competition begin! This weekend, Beauty Schools of America® (BSA) will be at Ribfest at Zoo Miami.
Ribfest is an annual event held at Zoo Miami that brings seven of the best rib cooks in the nation to Miami to compete for bragging rights and best rib trophies. In addition to the rib-off, there will be live performances from popular rock and country music bands, cooking demonstrations, hay rides, arts and crafts vendors and face-painting available for the kids.
“We’re really happy to be attending Ribfest at Zoo Miami this year,” stated Jeff Gonzales, Chief Operating Officer at Beauty Schools of America. “We have four comprehensive students on hand who will be in charge of face painting for kids. It’s a great opportunity for them to showcase their talents, I know they’re excited.”
The competition kicks-off this Friday at 3:30pm, and different events run throughout the weekend. Awards will be handed out for “Best” ribs, beef brisket, pork, chicken and sauce. And of course, a ticket to the event includes admission to Zoo Miami for the day.
