We’re handling orders from companies thinking ahead to Christmas and we’ll be rushing bag orders all through the fall. If our clients need it, we’ll get it done.

The Bag Ladies, printed bag specialists located in Marina Del Rey, California, creates customized promotional bags for a variety of businesses. The company specializes in working with medium-sized companies on small batch orders and offers a wide array of materials, colors, and printing options to clients.

Founded by Sheryl Goldie and Linda Hollander in 1988, The Bag Ladies sought to fill a gap in the promotional products market. “None of the packaging companies wanted to deal with the small businesses because their orders were too tiny. Being a small business ourselves, we knew that small businesses needed the advertising the most,” remembers Goldie.

The company grew steadily, thanks to word of mouth within the small business community and a dedication to superior customer service. The Bag Ladies is one of the few promotional bag makers who not only courts but welcomes small custom orders, and their most loyal customers have been with the brand for over 20 years.

Offering a wide variety of printing options, The Bag Ladies’ line is appropriate for all marketing budgets. From the budget-friendly Drawtape Plastic Handle Bags to the company’s deluxe custom fashion totes designed as gift bags, it’s hard to imagine a printed bag product The Bag Ladies don’t offer. “We’ve noticed a lot of interest in green, sustainable products over the last decade,” says Goldie, “so we’ve really stepped-up our eco-friendly line to meet that consumer need.”

With the 2013 holiday shopping season just around the corner, The Bag Ladies are gearing up for an influx of orders. “This is our busiest time of year,” says Goldie. “We’re handling orders from companies thinking ahead to Christmas and we’ll be rushing bag orders all through the fall. If our clients need it, we’ll get it done.”

Overall holiday spending is expected to rise about 2.5% over 2012. This year’s official season is shorter than normal, measuring only 25 days from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Over 30% of all businesses say they start preparing for the holiday season in August or earlier.

The Bag Ladies are currently offering one of their deepest discounts in years, 20% off all new printed bag orders until November in an effort to entice new clients. “Some small businesses just don’t know the value of custom printed products yet,” says Goldie, “but we’re hoping to change that.”
