ArchLive Chicago Releases Five New Local, Original TV Series on the ArchLive TV Network
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- TV is changing, and so are your viewing habits. It’s no longer just about the big screen in your living room, but more about finding new and engaging programming on your laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
For the first time ever - local television is MUST SEE TV! Say hello to ArchLive Chicago, an Internet television channel with programming geared exclusively for Chicagoans.
ArchLive Chicago delivers innovative, original programming that is in-depth, edgy and compelling - the “HBO of Local Television”. Viewers can feast their eyes on 5 original series at launch as well as enjoy selected independent films from CIMMfest (Chicago International Music and Movies Festival). All content on ArchLive Chicago is available for a low subscription of just $3.99 per month. New content is added regularly.
ABOUT THE ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING
“Dogged Deliverance” - A group of women vigilante dog rescuers scour Chicago’s roughest neighborhoods in an effort to save canines from organized dog fighting rings and other abusive environments.
“Food Junkie Chicago” with Kelly Rizzo - A local "it girl", model, and food reporter gets unfettered inside access to explore what is driving Chicago's dynamic and varied food culture.
“Chicago’s Most Eligible” – is a comedy series about Leigh, a 30-something magazine editor assigned to work on a popular yearly feature on the 20 Most Eligible Bachelors in Chicago. Recently single, Leigh takes advantage of the opportunity to meet these "studs" in person while fending off the pursuit of her infantile, yet charming ex-boyfriend. A collaboration of Chicago's finest improv talent, the cast features actors from The Second City Mainstage and IO Chicago Theater.
“In My Shoes” is where cultures and ideals collide, as people from estranged neighborhoods experience people and set foot in places they have never set foot in before. In this "fish out of water" show, each episode is hosted by author and community activist Jahmal Cole who ignites emotions, biases, misconceptions, and humor when Chicagoans from vastly different cultural and socioeconomic neighborhoods join the experience of another's life.
“Beth, From Chicago” - This quirky, mockumentary-style series follows five hilariously exaggerated Chicago female personalities, all played by one comedienne, Beth Melewski of Chicago’s famed comedy theater The Second City. From the overenthusiastic Cubs parking lady to the former “Cash Cab” host who now runs “Kash Pedi-Kab” - think of it as “Tracey Ullman meets Portlandia” with an observational, comedic view of characters you’re bound to come across in Chicago.
