Better Business Bureau Honors Kansas Businesses for Ethical Business Practices

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving Nebraska. South Dakota, The Kansas Plains and Southwest Iowa and its Foundation today honored the 2013 BBB Integrity Award Winners from the Kansas Plains area at its annual awards luncheon that was held in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event was attended by approximately 400 people. The keynote speaker was Dr. Jamie Williams. He is the Huskers’ Associate Athletic Director of Diversity and Leadership Initiatives at UNL.
The four Kansas Winners of these prestigious awards are: Pioneer Services, Military Division of MidCountry Bank, Junction City; Collision Specialists CARSTAR, Wichita and Protection 1, Wichita. In addition, Housing and Credit Counseling, Inc., Topeka was selected in the Charity Category. These organizations range in size from less than 5 employees to over 150+ employees and have received the award for upholding the highest standards of business ethics.
President and CEO Jim Hegarty, stated, “BBB is pleased to bring organizations from Kansas into our Integrity Awards program.
