Rusty's Auto Salvage (http://www.rustysautosalvage.com) saw an across-the-board increase in consumer activity, used car values and end-of-life vehicle values during the third-quarter of 2013.

"We have seen an increase in the value of vehicles we sell at auction and the scrap values automobile recycling companies are willing to pay for an 'end of life vehicle' or what most people would refer to as a 'junk car'. This increase enables us to offer the consumer more for their vehicle. Our industry is interesting in that it acts like a rubber band tied between automotive, construction and manufacturing. All signs point to the three industries trending up simultaneously for the first time since the 2008 financial crisis. Over the past few years at least one component was lagging behind pulling the momentum down. This is great news for us, our customers and global economy. For the local economies we touch, it means more jobs because we are hiring. It's great news that was a long time coming." Explains Chief Operating Officer Meir Resnik.

Chief Financial Officer Robert Vogel remarks "This is a fun business to be in because the processing of one of these cars throws off revenue to everyone who comes into contact with it. Unlike many competitors we pay the consumer a fair value for their car. Then we pay a towing partner to retrieve it. they drop it off to an auction who will sell the car to a dealer who will profit from it or take it to a recycling facility who will process the vehicle for scrap and sell the raw materials and parts to various organizations. So a single car supports jobs in our NYC headquarters, the consumers local area, and ultimately the location where the car or the materials wind up. It's very much like a food chain. This recovery will mean a lot of jobs here and around the country with our partners."

Rusty's Auto Salvage pays cash for junk cars, high-mileage cars, damaged, wrecked or just plain worn out old cars as well as junk vans, trucks and SUVs in any condition just about anywhere across the United States. The towing and removal is always fast, free & convenient.
