Renewable Choice Energy to Exhibit at Greenbuild 2013 Philadelphia
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- Colorado-based Renewable Choice Energy (http://www.renewablechoice.com) will join other leading exhibitors at this year’s annual Greenbuild conference later this month in Philadelphia. Since 2003, the firm has supplied more than 4,000 green building projects with Green-e Energy certified renewable energy credits (RECs).
The LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council® (USGBC) in 1998 and to date, has certified more than 10.4 billion square feet globally. The building standard awards points to green construction projects that result in LEED certification. Under USBGC guidelines, a project can receive points under the Energy & Atmosphere Green Power Credit for the purchase of RECs that are Green-e certified.
“We’ve worked with Renewable Choice on dozens of LEED projects for green power,” said Barry Giles, Founder and CEO of BuildingWise, LLC. “They are always knowledgeable and responsive to our needs while offering the best green power value in the market.”
The Green Power Credit allows projects to support renewable energy development by choosing RECs, offering affordable points toward LEED certification that significantly reduce a project’s environmental impact. Since 2003, Renewable Choice has been a member of the USGBC and has been supplying green power to building projects around the world.
“We’re excited to once again join the exhibitors at Greenbuild 2013,” said John Powers, Vice President of Business Development at Renewable Choice. “The opportunity to serve the green building industry has been a key part of our organization’s success, and we look forward to our continued partnership with the LEED community.”
Attendees are invited to visit the Renewable Choice booth (#3054) at the conference, held this year in Philadelphia, November 20-22.
