Halloween – M2 Internet, LLC. announced today the launch of LoversVote.com, a website dedicated to the resolution of disagreements within couples, through democracy in action - voting.

Here’s how it works: Lover-1 submits a dispute on LoversVote.com and invites Lover-2 to join the dispute. Each participant enters their side of the dispute and then registered users vote and comment, thus producing a winner in said dispute. Non-registered users may read and Facebook™ “Like” disputes. Registration is free.

The concept of LoversVote.com was spawned by an argument between the founder and his girlfriend. “I have no recollection of the exact disagreement,” stated Mark Laseau, “but I said something to the effect of ‘there should be a site where we can each enter our side of this dispute and then allow the world to vote on who’s right and who’s wrong’. She replied, ‘that’s a great idea, but you would lose’. I registered LoversVote.com within a matter of minutes.”

LoversVote.com aspires to alter the way disagreements are handled between two people in any kind of love/sexual relationship., including spouses, partners, boyfriend/girlfriend etc. LoversVote.com encourages users to submit their disagreements with anonymous user names. Using an online forum with anonymity breaks the old paradigm of bringing relationship troubles to friends and family where those giving advice are often vested in the relationship vis a’ vis one or both partners, often leading to conflict and resentment among the parties.

“For example,” said Mr. Laseau, “We’ve all run to family and friends bubbling with emotion and blabbing on about how our significant other is being unreasonable or worse and then regretted it later when we wanted the same friends or family members to accept the person we had claimed was so unreasonable. LoversVote.com gives couples a venue to argue and settle their differences by agreeing to live by the vote count each receives. It’s relationship democracy.”

LoversVote.com is simultaneously launching a mobile version of the website and will release mobile apps for iPhone and Android on December 2, 2013.
