Human Capital Institute Shares Details of Upcoming 2013 Talent Acquisition Technology Forum
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 04, 2013 -- The Human Capital Institute (HCI), the global institution for strategic talent management, today announced details of its 2013 Talent Acquisition Technology Forum, which will be held Thursday, December 5 through Friday, December 6, 2013 in San Francisco. This new annual event is designed to provide a platform for HR leaders to share best practices and solutions to facilitate the talent acquisition process and ensure they invest in the right technologies to build high-performing workforces.
In 2013, employers have seen unprecedented challenges to the talent acquisition function; and despite a recovering economy, businesses have continued to struggle to keep pace with high unemployment and widening skills gaps. Given the high number of candidates applying for a limited number of jobs, organizations are often faced with a barrage of resumes and limited internal resources to handle the challenge of attracting and identifying right-fit talent. Although the value proposition for investing in talent systems has never been greater, many organizations find that the technology changes as soon as a new strategy has been implemented.
With the 2013 Talent Acquisition Technology Forum, HCI aims to provide attendees with the insight that will help them make better informed decisions regarding their technology investments by highlighting best practices for evaluating and selecting a talent acquisition solution provider. Through a comprehensive agenda of informative sessions, case studies and insightful keynotes, the forum will provide attendees with the latest information in a number of areas crucial for today’s talent acquisition professionals, including mobile and social technology, candidate engagement and management, assessment technology and interviewing technology. In addition to the extensive forum agenda, attendees will have ample time for peer-to-peer discussions and networking.
Providing the closing keynote of the event is Ben Casnocha, accomplished author, entrepreneur and chief of staff to LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. During his address, “Welcome to Permanent Beta: The Continuous Reinvention of Hiring,” Casnocha will leverage his experience as a Silicon Valley entrepreneur to provide a bold guide for building an HR strategy for the 21st century. He will explain why companies need to rethink how they relate to their employees, offer advice for creating a two-way flow of value between a company and its most entrepreneurial employees, and discuss how to build lifetime relationships with employees.
“Employers today have access to a nearly unlimited number of recruiting technology solutions, each promising to change the talent acquisition function for the better. The challenge is in determining which systems live up to the hype and provide organizations with the competitive advantage needed to hire top talent today and into the future,” said Carl Rhodes, HCI chief executive officer. “In hosting our annual Talent Acquisition Technology Forum, we are able to help HR leaders and practitioners cut through the noise and identify the tools, technologies and best practices that will enable them to facilitate the hiring process and acquire the best people for their organizations.”
