Relias Learning Supports National Council’s Visionary Leadership Award
Cary, NC (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- Relias Learning is pleased to sponsor the National Council for Behavioral Health’s 2014 Visionary Leadership Award. This award, one of National Council’s Awards of Excellence, recognizes a staff member or volunteer who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in behavioral healthcare—improving the lives of individuals with mental illnesses and addiction disorders while helping them live full lives in their communities.
“By supporting this tremendous award, Relias Learning is committed to raising the bar on behavioral health management and leadership,” says Jim Triandiflou, CEO of Relias Learning. “We’re proud to partner with the National Council and honor a visionary leader who can be a role model to the more than 750,000 dedicated public behavioral health professionals across the country working hard every day to serve their community’s most vulnerable people.”
The honoree receives $10,000 to be donated to a nonprofit of his or her choosing, and is recognized at a memorable red carpet event in conjunction with the National Council’s 2014 Conference and Hill Day in Washington, DC. All nominations are accepted through an online submission process and must be completed by November 15, 2013.
“The stories of visionary leaders inspire us and represent the dedication and passion of the entire behavioral health workforce,” said Linda Rosenberg, President and CEO of the National Council. “Relias has been a strong partner in nurturing workforce excellence and we’re grateful for their support in recognizing outstanding leadership.”
