Highlands Condos Names the Winter Magic Kickoff and Chili Cookoff Top Family Event of the Season

The Winter Magic Kickoff and Chili Cookoff is being held on November 13, and will mark the beginning of the holiday season in Gatlinburg. Millions of LED Christmas lights are set to shine in downtown Gatlinburg, alongside a fun chili competition.

The Winter Magic Kickoff and Chili Cookoff will take place on the downtown Parkway from 5-8 p.m. on November 13. Tickets can be purchased online for $10.
Guests will have the chance to sample chili prepared by more than twenty chefs from local restaurants and businesses. Entrants in the annual chili cookoff will compete for a variety of titles including Best Presentation, Best Chili Apron and Best Chili. In addition to prizes awarded by a panel of experts, guests will vote on their favorite chili to choose the winner of the People’s Choice Award.
The Chili Cookoff will also feature a chili-eating contest. Guests who take part in this yearly competition will eat chili that gets progressively hotter with each round.
