Southern NH Hubspot User Group to Meet November 13 in Manchester
Manchester, NH (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- Inbound marketers and digital marketers are rightfully concerned about Google’s new algorithm, named Hummingbird, and what it means for them. The change, which affects all search results, has been live for more than a month now and favors “long tail” keyword searches, or the plain-English phrases that an average person might type into the Google search box. This is the biggest change to the Google algorithm since 2009.
Compounding marketers’ confusion, Google also recently encrypted all keyword data from its searches, meaning that marketers have no access to data on what terms people are actually searching for to find the results they want.
These two issues will be addressed in depth at the Southern NH Hubspot User Group meeting on Wednesday, November 13, at 5:30 p.m. Paul Schmidt, an Inbound Marketing Consultant at Hubspot, will explain what these changes mean for marketers and what tools marketers can use to mine for valuable keyword data.
“We’re thrilled Paul will be joining us for our event,” said Stephanie McLaughlin, principal of Savoir Faire and organizer of the event. “He’s certified in Google Analytics so he’s got great insight that will help us understand these changes and how we need to adapt our strategies to go with them.”
The event will take place at The Shaskeen, an Irish pub and restaurant located at 909 Elm Street in Manchester, NH. We'll have light appetizers and the first 10 registrants will receive complimentary drink tickets. To register for this free event, visit https://novsnhhug.eventbrite.com.
This event is a great opportunity to talk about Inbound Marketing in a practical and tactical way and to delve into Hubspot and its capabilities for automating Inbound Marketing. This group is for anyone who is practicing/studying/curious about Inbound Marketing.
