Williamsburg, VA (PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- Tidewater Physical Therapy will host the third in a series of recruit757 scholarship workshops for football players and their parents at its clinic in Williamsburg, Va. on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for athletes and parents. The workshop will start at 7 p.m. and run until 9 p.m.
The Tidewater Physical Therapy Williamsburg Clinic is located at 4125 Ironbound Road, near the Newtown shopping district.
"We’re calling these series the Game Plan because we’re working to help student athletes plan for the college recruitment process,” said Andy Hilton, founder of recruit757, a scouting and video service for colleges who turn to the region to look for quality athletes.
The seminar covers, Hilton said, “everything off the field that relates to the next steps in your football career,” including NCAA rules and regulations, the NCAA Clearinghouse, recruitment timelines, financial planning and academics.
Players are encouraged to wear their jerseys for an updated profile picture on recruit757.com.
Scheduled speakers include:
-SAT Expert, Paula Brown.
-BayPort Credit Union representative on college financing.
-Local university representative.
-Tidewater Physical Therapy Vice President John Mitrovic, PT, SCS, ATC, CSCS. Mitrovic played football for the College of William and Mary, is the team’s physical therapy consultant and works with college athletes in his clinic.
Space is limited. The first two seminars, held in Newport News and Chesapeake, drew large crowds of student athletes and parents. Registration is required for this free event.
