Both honors, bestowed by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), were awarded for creative excellence for Furnished Quarters’ newly revamped website, launched in January 2013.
The International Academy of the Visual Arts is an invitation-only group of over 550 leading professionals from acclaimed media, marketing, advertising, and interactive firms. The W3 Awards represent a highly competitive, prestigious honor for award-winning work on the web, judged on criteria such as creativity, visual design, ease of use, functionality, navigation, and usability. There were more than 4,000 submissions for the 2013 awards and only 10% of all entries are selected as Gold Winners. The Davey Awards honor outstanding creative on the web and distinction in creative work, such as out-of-the-box thinking, fresh ideas, and exceptional execution.
