SAE International Announces Debut of New Aerospace & Defense Technology Magazine
Warrendale, PA (PRWEB) November 04, 2013 -- Tech Briefs Media Group, an SAE International Company, announces a new magazine to serve the military and consumer aerospace engineering industries – Aerospace & Defense Technology magazine.
Aerospace & Defense Technology is born from the blending of two great current publications – Defense Tech Briefs (DTB) and Aerospace Engineering (AE). It will bring together the latest advances from the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA and other major industry leaders.
Bruce Bennett, DTB's editor, and Jean Broge, managing editor of AE, will be at the editorial helm of Aerospace & Defense Technology. Together, they bring more 35 years of editorial expertise.
“Given the increasing role of aerospace technology in the defense and security arenas - from conventional aircraft to unmanned aerial vehicles to surveillance satellites, etc. - it just made sense to combine the two industry-leading publications into one, giving our readers the best of both worlds,” commented Bruce Bennett, DTB’s editor.
Jean Broge, managing editor of Aerospace Engineering said, “Aerospace & Defense Technology will provide rich, in-depth feature content that focuses on the most innovative aspects of aerospace engineering in terms of the design and engineering of aircraft, and their sub-systems, for commercial applications, as well as provide a global viewpoint in terms of what is critical to the decision making process and ultimate direction of advanced technologies.”
Aerospace & Defense Technology will continue to be the largest-circulation engineering magazine for the mil-aero market, serving more than 100,000 design engineers and managers worldwide through our print and digital editions, plus 60,000 aerospace and defense e-newsletter subscribers. Enclosed is the 2014 Aerospace & Defense Technology Marketing Planner.
