For Better Intimacy: Private Matters TV Show/Web Portal Announces Campaign to Fund Expansion
SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA (PRWEB) November 11, 2013 -- MaxVan Praag is on a crusade to bring conversations about love, intimacy, and sexuality to the mainstream—covering subjects like the future of marriage, bonding, enhancing passion, polyamory, emotional and sexual health, tantra and man/woman dynamics.
“Everyone has the right to achieve bliss in his or her own way, without judgment and criticism,” says Van Praag, Producer-Host of http://www.PrivateMatters.com. The cable television show on Channel 26 in Marin County, CA covers intimate subjects that aren’t typically discussed in news headlines or appear on mainstream television. Among the 40 existing episodes are topics such as staying in love, BDSM, intimacy and zest for life, etc. Van Praag believes this is “just the tip of the iceberg. There’s so much more I want to discuss…” when the Indiegogo fundraising campaign is complete.
“I grew up in the progressive and open-minded culture of Holland so I feel very comfortable interviewing my guests about topics that many people are not totally comfortable talking about.”
It is his life’s work to bring more information about sex, love and relationships to the surface. For years, Van Praag has been bravely talking about the edges of sexuality -- and has built a growing audience on You Tube, online and cable TV – now reaching more than 100,000 viewers.
“Information on how to have healthy intimate relationships is hard to find on the Internet and desperately needed. I find that with the recent raising of consciousness, people are craving an increased level of intimacy in their lives,” he says.
His dream is to produce more episodes and take the show to a much larger audience by raising funds with an IndieGoGo campaign http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/private-matters-tv-show-and-web-portal/x/4426484. The campaign runs through November 18th, 2013. Donations are tax-deductible.
