mOasis Welcomes Dean Oestreich to Board of Directors, Gains Key California Approval

The company also announced that the California Department of Food and Agriculture has approved BountiGel™, the company’s first commercial product, for sale in California.
BountiGel is a non-toxic, next-generation soil additive that maximizes crop yields while allowing growers to optimize water usage. Approval of BountiGel by regulatory officials in California follows the recent approval in Arizona, and allows the company to commercialize its first new product in this key agricultural state. California approved both versions of the product - - powder and granular – for sale statewide. These innovative soil additives are now available for sale and are applicable to a wide range of crops.
Building on this momentum, the company is welcoming Dean Oestreich to the Board of Directors. Dean is the former President and Chairman of Pioneer Hi-Bred, a developer and supplier of advanced plant genetics and a wholly owned subsidiary of DuPont Corporation. He retained this role until January of 2010 and since then has served as a consultant to Pioneer Hi-Bred. He also serves as a director of Nexsteppe, a feedstock solutions business for biofuels, biopower and biobased product industries, and as a director of Alliant Energy, a publicly-traded Midwest energy company providing electric and natural gas services.
