Donna DiMaggio Berger of Katzman Garfinkel & Berger, to be Keynote Speaker at Florida Community Association Journal's Inaugural Trade Show
Margate, FL (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- On Wednesday, January 8, 2014, the Florida Community Association Journal will host its first ever statewide community association trade-show at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, FL for board members, managers and service providers of Condominium Associations, Cooperatives, HOAs, Timeshares and Mobile Home communities. The Show's theme is "Celebrate Florida" which will be reinforced throughout the day with exhibits, classes, entertainment, food and prizes.
"We are excited for the opportunity to meet our readers face-to-face," said Jim McMurry, Publications Director of FLCAJ. "We live in a digital age, but nothing replaces personal contact which leads to personal relationships. The Show is the first statewide conference and expo that brings together and introduces all the interested parties who touch the industry."
In that spirit, attorney Donna DiMaggio Berger, has been announced as the FCAP Luncheon Keynote speaker.
"FCAP (Florida Community Association Professionals) is very pleased to have Donna Berger, Founding Partner of Katzman Garfinkel & Berger and Executive Director of the not-for-profit Community Advocacy Network (CAN), as our first FCAP Luncheon Keynote Speaker," said Lisa Whitson, FCAP Director. "The theme of the FCAP conference is "Vision." When we began to consider options for the speaker's role, we looked for a person who could be called a true visionary, and Donna exemplifies that in real life. We are very privileged to have her as part of the conference."
The Show is the only venue that brings together the readers and advertisers of the Florida Community Association Journal (FLCAJ) and the members of FCAP (Florida Community Association Professionals), and it naturally focuses on education. Most trade-shows offer classroom education, but The Show's goal, in addition to that, is to send all attendees home with resource material which will enable them to make more informed decisions for their communities throughout the year.
"I am thrilled to have been asked to play a role in this incredible event for our industry," said Donna DiMaggio Berger. "Everything the Florida Community Association Journal and FCAP undertake winds up being incredibly well-done and beneficial for the millions of people living in shared ownership communities."
