Trinity Broadcasting Network Launches “Thankful for My Pastor” Facebook Contest, Featuring an All-Expenses-Paid Trip to TBN's Exclusive Holy Land Experience
(PRWEB) November 04, 2013 -- Trinity Broadcasting Network, America's most-watched faith channel, wants to send your pastor to the Holy Land Experience, TBN's Orlando, Florida vacation destination where the land of the Bible comes alive through music, live drama, and unbelievable exhibits.
That's right! TBN's “Thankful for My Pastor” Facebook contest gives you the opportunity to tell the world why you're thankful for your church's pastor — along with the chance to give your pastor an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Holy Land Experience — complete with travel, lodging, food, and four wonderful days to experience the splendor of one of America's most unique and life-changing vacation spots.
“Here at TBN, we're deeply thankful for the men and women who faithfully lead America's thousands of congregations and houses of worship,” said Reba Toney, TBN's Director of Social Media. “They're a big part of what we do here at TBN and we want to give our viewers an opportunity to share why their pastors are so special.”
The contest runs from November 1st through the 22nd, and here's how it works: log on to TBN's Facebook page — or the Facebook pages for one of our 36 full-power local TBN channels — and click on the special “Thankful for My Pastor” link. Identify your pastor along with the church, community, and state where he or she serves. Then, in 140 characters or less, tell the world what's special about your pastor and why you're thankful for this unique servant of God. You can even check out some of the other pastors and why they've been nominated.
At the conclusion of the contest each of TBN's local channels will choose a nominee from their area, and from those nominees a national TBN committee will select three pastors, along with three friends or loved ones, for a very special time of relaxation and spiritual renewal at Holy Land Experience.
“The close partnership TBN has enjoyed with pastors and clergy all over the world has been a real blessing over our forty-year history,” said TBN Vice President Matthew Crouch. “We're thankful for their commitment to God's kingdom — and grateful that we can serve as a valuable resource to them and their congregations through TBN's 26 distinct global networks.”
