Verian’s Recent Cloud and GA Release Adds Many New Benefits to the System for Users

Verian, the leader in helping businesses achieve world class cost control, has released version 12.0 of its purchase to pay software suite. Version 12.0 is a cloud and generally available (GA) release, and includes several innovative enhancements.

Vendor Profile Attributes and Management:

Version 12.0 provides the ability to create vendor specific properties such as text fields, numeric values, drop down menus, and even attachments to help customers track specific information about vendors such as 1099 information, insurance certification, and other attributes that customers are now unable to track in ERP or accounts payable (AP) systems.

Vendor values can be managed by an internal system user or by the supplier through the Verian vendor portal. Additionally, if configured, the system can now put a vendor on hold, preventing new purchase orders (POs), work orders, and other transactions. This functionality is of great value to customers who are currently tracking this kind of information manually. These new features also help customers mitigate risks and liability by preventing new business transactions with at-risk vendors.

Service Type and Location Mapping for Work Order Vendors:

This new functionality is specifically targeted for Verian’s work order module, allowing a vendor to be mapped to specific work order types and locations that correlate with that vendor’s service offerings and territories. Once mapped, the system can utilize this information to present a concise list of vendors to a user during work order creation, saving time, and removing the guesswork from vendor selection.

Mobile Login Password for Single Sign on (SSO) Users:

Version 12.0 allows organizations configured to use SSO to retain a mechanism that lets users login to the mobile app to do approvals. Mobile presents a unique challenge in that users could login from within or outside of the enterprise network, rendering SSO authentication ineffective. This new functionality overcomes that challenge, and allows all Verian users to adopt the Verian mobile app regardless of the authentication method being used.

Mobile App for Invoice Approvals:

Version 12.0 further enhances mobile approvals by allowing Verian users to review and approve fully coded invoices (PO or Non-PO) through the Verian mobile app.

Tenant Specific Date/Time Display:

Understanding that most users prefer to see data tailored to individual locations and regions, Verian has responded by providing the ability in version 12.0 for tenants to set up specific date and time zone displays for transactions.

Cloud Reporting Enhancements:

Version 12.0 includes performance and architecture enhancements to the reporting module that allow the application reporting functionality to scale and run in a more robust and reliable fashion to deliver customers key data that they use for daily decision making and for realizing savings.
