Hearst Television Implements Matrix Solutions’ Web-Based Media CRM & Sales Analytics System Across All 29 TV Stations
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- Matrix Solutions, the leading provider of CRM and Sales Management Software, announced today that Hearst Television, Inc. has fully implemented their web-based Media CRM & Sales Analytics Solution across all 29 of their television stations. Hearst Television serves 30 U.S. cities and reaches approximately 18 percent of U.S. television households. The full implementation and data normalization of all Hearst Television stations to the new web-based Matrix system took a total of ten weeks to fully install and also included on-board training.
“Hearst Television’s objective was to find a CRM solution with a partner that understands the broadcast business model and could provide software as a service model,” said Al Lustgarten, Vice President of IT, Hearst Television. “Matrix was the perfect choice as they not only met our requirements but also understood how to integrate into our sales database.”
The Matrix system is very intuitive and easy to use, but more importantly it delivers significant operational efficiency, which is mission-critical when your media ecosystem is comprised of multiple stations and platforms, i.e. TV and web. “The migration process and training has gone very smoothly and Matrix Solutions has been proactive in working with us to drive adoption and to insure a high level of customer satisfaction,” commented Lustgarten.
The new web-based Matrix system affords users access anytime from anywhere via the web or mobile device. Additionally it is unique in its ability to normalize data, by cleansing and merging data that may be off slightly, i.e. a business name misspelled at one level. Normalization saves a tremendous amount of time in aggregating and analyzing data, especially at a corporate group level where records are summarized to provide a holistic view, since providing accurate and actionable data is key.
“Using Matrix provides companies such as Hearst greater insight into their business enabling them to drill down to account level detail or roll-up to a summarized view across the entire enterprise,” said DJ Cavanuagh, CEO, Matrix Solutions. “Having this insight of how you are doing at your fingertips affords a greater level of operational efficiency that positively impacts the bottom line revenue.”
