The Inn on First Rids Worries of Dog Question While Wine-Tasting in Napa, CA
Napa, California (PRWEB) November 04, 2013 -- The Inn On First invites provides wine country luxury for dogs, too. Recently, Jim Gunther and Jamie Cherry lost their 14-year old miniature schnauzer, Oscar, after a rich and full life.
"Even in sadness, there is celebration for the gift he brought to us and to our guests," Inkeeper Jim Gunther said.
The Inn On First understands how important a dog can be as a companion and friend. For this reason, they provide three dog-friendly accommodations for guests traveling with their beloved pets.
"If a guest doesn't bring a bed or bowls, then we provide them," Proprieter Jamie Cherry said. "We also have a dog shower available for those dogs that might need a cool, afternoon shower."
Looking to enhance the experience for dogs, The Inn On First now provides a wine tour package where pets can come along for the day, with treats, water, and dog toy provided. If the dog isn't allowed in the winery, the wine tour driver, a certified professional dog trainer, will take the time to fine tune your pets commands as you see fit.
"This is definitely a value-added proposition," Gunther stated.
With this new service, dog-owners no longer need to leave their pet(s) unattended in a dog crate or alone in a room.
Dogs are also more than welcome at the Inn’s Napa Bed and Breakfast. Three of the Inn’s Garden Suites rooms, the Meritage, Incantment and Heritage Estate, are spacious and accommodating for canine companions. In fact, dogs aren’t just welcome at the Napa Bed & Breakfast, but they’ll also receive a custom pet bed, and a food & water bowl with a floor mat. Extra pet services, such as an outdoor shower and grooming services, are also available. The Inn does charge a $50 pet fee per stay, and each additional dog is $10. There is a limit of three dogs per couple. Dogs left unattended in rooms must be crated, and any damage caused by a pet will incur a charge to the room to cover any necessary repairs or replacements. There will also be a minimum $100 extra cleaning fee.
