New Book, "Heartmind Wisdom" Shares True Stories of Truth, Wisdom and Courage
Vancouver, Canada (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- Every person has life-gained wisdom that can help to heal others. This core belief led Joyce Ross and Patricia Connor to compile an anthology of 21 candid and inspiring stories.
Heartmind Wisdom is written by 21 different authors who share how friendship, family, and spiritual belief have helped them overcome various challenges, including depression, personal loss, overweightness and bankruptcy. Each chapter provides uplifting insights and down-to-earth healing suggestions that reveal keys to living a life of happiness and love.
“Everyone has a life purpose and an insightful story. From the guy or gal who cuts you off in traffic, to the elderly person sitting alone, each of us wants to be acknowledged and valued,” says Ross. “It’s our hope that readers will be inspired by the incredible journeys of everyday people. The book is divided into five restorative categories: Bouncing Back, Divine Connection, Healing from Loss, Hope, and Self-Actualization. Ross and Connor compare it to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, except with longer and more developed stories.
