Mintek Mobile Data Solutions Announces New Mobile App for Work Requests
Dunedin, FL (PRWEB) November 06, 2013 -- Mintek Mobile Data Solutions Inc. announced today the launching of a new mobile application, TR Work Request. TR Work Request is designed to enable any Transcendent® user to complete and submit a work request.
The application is ideal for any EAM CMMS user that has discovered work that needs to be done. With TR Work Request, users can submit a work request using any iOS supported mobile devices such as an iPhone or iPad.
With just a few taps, a user can submit a work request, which is put into the work request queue. A notification is then sent to maintenance management so it can be prioritized and assigned.
One of the best features of TR Work request is that a user can attach a photo to the work request to help explain the situation. Once the work is completed, an email is sent back to the original submitter.
"In the past when I did my daily rounds, I would find myself in a situation that would require too much time to explain a situation. Now with the new TR Work Request app I just have to take a picture and the engineer sees directly what I mean," says Edwin Duijvekam, DOE, Amsterdam Marriott Hotel.
