The game, featuring a series of photo and crime solving puzzles as well as modern day crime analyses, and challenges the mind.
“We’re seeing more criminal justice organizations encouraging employees to complete advanced degrees. To really be successful, especially in a leadership or administrative role, requires a working knowledge of resources, budgeting and organizational management. Learning how to be that type of leader is challenging and important,” says Bethany Brown, Ph.D, Director of the online Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration program. “Finding new, innovative ways to engage students, and promote critical thinking is one of our core values as an institution.”
The Criminal Justice Challenge & Photo Hunt features three interactive segments. The first, “Curriculum in the Real World” analyzes current events like the Madoff Ponzi Scheme and Casey Anthony’s murder trial to demonstrate how the curriculum of the online graduate criminal justice program could be applied to these real life cases.
The second section, “Criminal Justice Fast Facts” contains trivia knowledge and facts about the criminal justice industry, relevant to focal areas of growing importance including Forensic Science Administration and Justice Administration.
The third and final section is the Challenge and Photo Hunt. The segment displays randomized puzzles, industry-related challenges and quizzes for the user to solve, gaining knowledge of different areas of the industry during the experience.
