Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- Events DC and the National Cherry Blossom Festival announced Events DC will present the 2014 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, continuing a longstanding partnership. With the support of Events DC, the Parade will be nationally syndicated, showcasing the brand of the National Cherry Blossom Festival and springtime in Washington, DC to thousands of viewers across the country in addition to thousands of spectators.
“The National Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off the tourist season each spring, and directly impacts the local economy through increased visitor spending and the high demand for hotel rooms, restaurants, and attractions,” said Events DC President and CEO Gregory A. O’Dell. “We are proud to continue supporting an event with such a powerful influence on the economy and community that showcases the best of our nation’s capital.”
Events DC is a leading sponsor of the 2014 National Cherry Blossom and provides overall support and strategic counsel.
