Advancing Eco Agriculture, a Regenerative Agriculture Products & Services Company, Affirms that Healthy Soil is the Basis for a Strong Economy and Environment
Middlefield, OH (PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- Advancing Eco Agriculture, the leading provider of regenerative agriculture systems, affirms that healthy soil is the key to a strong economy and environment.
According to an October 29th article published by the European Commission titled “Healthy soil: the basis for a strong economy and wholesome environment,” an EU-funded project has been created to show how successful regenerative agricultural practices that prevent “soil degradation” are vital to improving soil quality and building a strong economy.
Due to mainstream farming practices, climate change, and industrial development, soil quality is being jeopardized through degradation and contamination. The LIFE REGEN FARMING project, launched in 2013, will test potential sustainable farming practices on crops that are being cultivated in different climatic and agricultural conditions. Regenerative agriculture systems which incorporate natural fertilizers and soil amendments, will also be evaluated.
From these tests, researchers will be able to develop “easy-to-use, fast and cheap diagnostic and monitoring methodologies to evaluate soil health” and “assess the environmental and socioeconomic impact of regenerative practices on farms.”
John Kempf, Founder and CEO of Advancing Eco Agriculture, the leading provider of regenerative agriculture systems, believes this project is a great step forward for the sustainable agriculture industry. “Implementing farming practices such as the use of soil amendments and the use of natural fertilizers, have been proven to improve crop yields and vigor and soil health,” he says. “This project will bring this to light and hopefully encourage more farmers to become more familiar with regenerative farming practices that can improve the environment and the economy.”
“Advancing Eco-Agriculture (AEA) has created models for understanding the soil plant system and how this system’s performance can be optimized with plant nutrition supplied at Critical Points of Influence (CPI’s). Our product technologies and consulting services help farmers around the world to grow healthier crops, regenerate soil health and improve farm economics. Our mission is to help farmers produce quality, high yielding, and disease and insect resistant crops by using a systems-based approach to providing complete plant nutrition.”
