Vector Marketing Corporation Presents Highest Corporate Honor for Community Service to Michigan District Manager
Lansing, MI (PRWEB) November 07, 2013 -- Tina Marie Minar, Executive District Manager for Vector Marketing Corporation, the single-level direct sales division of Cutco Cutlery Corporation, was presented with the Marty Domitrovich Triple Crown of Service award at the company’s recent Strategic Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The award is given in memory of one of Vector Marketing’s most esteemed leaders, and is presented each year to the person or persons within Vector Marketing who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to improving the world around them through their service-oriented contributions to their communities. This is the fourth year the award has been presented.
Minar, a resident of Holt, Michigan, is Executive District Manager for Vector Marketing’s East Lansing office.
She received the award in recognition of her community service work helping to support several local non-profit organizations, including Lansing Family and Child Services, the police officer’s club, school athletic programs and school band programs. Minar also donates a portion of her office’s product sales to her local Habitat for Humanity, as well as personally assisting with building homes for the organization in the Lansing area. Each year during the holidays, Minar supports the Michigan Toys for Tots by purchasing and delivering toys to needy children in central and upper Michigan.
Minar graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson in 1998. She began selling Cutco in 2001 while attending graduate school at Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan. By the time she graduated in 2003 with a Masters in Leadership and Public Administration, Minar had sold $175,000 of Cutco.
“I loved the sense of freedom and entrepreneurship that came with working with Vector Marketing, as well as the potential for unlimited income, so I decided to remain with the company after graduation,” Minar says. She was promoted to Pilot Sales Manager in Vector’s East Lansing office in 2003 and again promoted to District Manager for the same office in 2005.
When Minar reached $3 million in office career sales, she was again promoted to Executive District Manager. She has achieved nearly $10 million in career sales to date.
“I am so honored to have received this award,” Minar says. “I feel proud to work with a company that supports and encourages the notion of charitable giving and the importance of helping to make the community in which we live a better place for everyone.”
