Available in 5600K (Daylight) or 3200K (Tungsten) color temperatures, the 200WA is a constant light source modeled after the familiar strobe form factor that enables the use of standard strobe accessories. The LED-200WA is twice as bright as Fotodiox's prior model, the award-winning LED-100WA, and demands significantly less power than an equivalent tungsten fixture. The LED-200WA is the more powerful compliment to the LED-100WA, which recently received a 2013 POP Award from the magazine Popular Photography as part of the year’s best new photography gear. Despite requiring a mere 200 watts of electric draw, the 200WA produces over 15,000 lux/m of luminance. It runs on constant current power, enabling it to last twice as long as LEDs that run on alternating current power. Additionally, the 200WA has a built-in glass diffuser for a soft, even light and a high color rendering index (CRI >85) that consistently renders proper color in virtually any environment.
