Synergy Media Group Donates $10,000 Audiovisual Service Contract to Center for Organ Recovery and Education
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 07, 2013 -- Synergy Media Group, an audiovisual and video conference room technology provider, gave back to a local non-profit organization, Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE), last month to thank them for all that they do in the community. The multimedia consulting firm donated a three-year, $10,000 audio visual contract for CORE’s technology in their board room and auditorium.
The three-year service contract will allow Synergy Media Group to support the audiovisual technology within the organization, allowing CORE to focus their monetary efforts on assisting the community by playing a pivotal role between potential donors and patients awaiting transportation of organs.
The idea behind the generous donation came from CORE’s ability to touch and change the lives of many in the community. Since Synergy Media Group began working with CORE, a majority of the firm’s employees have become organ donors in hopes of furthering CORE’s mission of saving lives. A company friend of Synergy Media Group, whose brother passed away in October 2010, utilized CORE to donate the organs of his brother, which revitalized the 57 year-old recipient.
"Synergy Media Group couldn’t be more proud of supporting and giving back to an organization whose sole mission is to help others," said Bill McIntosh, President of Synergy Media Group. "We want to not only provide user-friendly AV systems, but also to create a long lasting relationship with our clients."
About Center for Organ Recovery and Education:
Since its inception more than 30 years ago, the Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE) has helped to provide more than 300,000 organs, tissue and corneas for transplantation. The chances for renewed health provided through CORE would not be possible without those who have said "yes" to donation. Founded in 1977 as the Transplant Organ Procurement Foundation of Western Pennsylvania and later known as the Pittsburgh Transplant Foundation, the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) changed to its existing name in 1992 to reflect its expanding role in the procurement field.
