Bend, Oregon (PRWEB) November 05, 2013
Deschutes Brewery announced today that its craft beers will be available in the states of Ohio and Kentucky starting on January 24, 2014. The Oregon-based brewery will be working with Heidelberg Distributing Company’s Rampant Brands Division, which focuses exclusively on the distribution, education and sale of craft beer. Rampant serves Ohio’s 88 counties as well as all retailers in the wet counties of Kentucky.
Stacy Denbow, expansion manager for the brewery, said, “With 11 million future fans and more than 22,000 licensed retail accounts, we knew moving into Ohio would be a huge undertaking. Partnership with an expert company like Heidelberg’s Rampant Division gave us a great opportunity to launch in Ohio, as well as extending into the great Commonwealth of Kentucky.”
