"From Acquisition to Quality Assurance to Data Delivery, Annie’s consistent success make her the right person to get us there."
Annie brings to FoodEssentials her near 20 years of managing global teams, improving sophisticated processes, and delivering quality metrics from St. Louis, MO based Sigma-Aldrich, a Life Science and High Technology company that operates in 37 countries. She began her career out of Bradley University with a Degree in Chemistry and then shifted to the business side acquiring an MBA from Fontbonne University in 1998. The FoodEssentials vision is to bring people around the world the individually tailored information they need to make the right decisions about what they eat. "Annie has an impressive record of creating teams, strategies, and networks that will help us scale internally as well as with our international reach," Xavier adds.
"Data drives our decisions, so we need more than a manager of our data assets," states Ronak Sheth, EVP Product of FoodEssentials. "We also need someone to implement our processes, systems, and instrumentation with that in mind. Annie's expertise and corporate experience in this area makes her ideal and further rounds out our talents."
Annie’s hiring is another example of startups in Saint Louis attracting corporate professionals eager to leave an established large enterprise for the energy, enthusiasm, and mission of a small start-up. "I know there is risk associated with this move, but it is worth it for the potential I see in FoodEssentials as a company and also in playing a part in enabling people to make better food choices," states Annie. As a board member of the Friends of St. Louis Children’s Hospital Board, she’s also worked to progress the goals of the greater community.
