Bel Furniture & Catholic Charities Announce Partnership For The Christmas Season
Houston, TX (PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- To announce this, a Share Your Blessings kick off party was held to celebrate Catholic Charities annual Christmas program that provides help to more than 5,000 clients from children to senior citizens in need thru 15 various programs. Bel Furniture management & employees, Catholic Charities patrons, sponsors, & workers enjoyed an evening of holiday festivities at a sponsors home in the Heights section of Houston on the evening of Oct.12, 2013.
Food, drinks, & gifts were provided to all who attended by the Mollai family of Bel Furniture. The party was attended by Cynthia Nunes Colbert, President/CEO of Catholic Charities, Catholic Charity board members, and the owners and management team of Bel Furniture.
The food drive will help raise the issue of hunger awareness and the food collected will benefit the general public in Harris & Ft. Bend counties with two large food pantries that distribute fresh fruits, vegetables and canned goods in southeast Houston and in Richmond, Texas.
The partnership allows Bel Furniture to concentrate its outreach to the community by utilizing Catholic Charities many programs & resources to bring to reality, true giving & help during this holiday time.
As an added incentive for everyone to participate including other companies, churches, and organizations, Bel Furniture will hold a drawing for anyone who does donate and a chance to win a new Texas Home Collection living room set. You must make a food donation for a chance to enter and win.
