NASASPS Recognizes over 300 Certified Higher Education Professionals
Lexington, Kentucky (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- The National Association of State Administrators and Supervisors of Private Schools (NASASPS) announced today that over 300 individuals have earned the Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) credential.
The CHEP certification awarded by NASASPS recognizes employees of career schools, colleges and universities who strive for excellence in their respective positions. The primary goal of this certification program is to enable institutions to develop high performing, compliant, and ethical employees to better serve students. CHEPs have successfully completed forty eight hours of approved training in their area of concentration and are required to complete eight hours of approved training annually to maintain their certification. Areas of concentration for CHEPs include:

• Management and Supervision
• Campus Operations
• Admissions
• Career Services
• Teaching
• Online Teaching
