To encourage community members to join our effort, we are providing complimentary tickets to an upcoming Aztecs game for donating much needed food items to the San Diego Food Bank.

In an effort to help those in need, Hawthorne CAT has teamed with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, Mission Valley YMCA and San Diego State University Athletics to collect needed food items for the San Diego community.

Hawthorne CAT’s Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, David Ness, said, “As the number of people in need continues to grow in San Diego, our goal is to help collect food items for the San Diego Food Bank. To encourage community members to join our effort, we are providing complimentary tickets to an upcoming Aztecs game for donating much needed food items to the San Diego Food Bank.”

Steve Dunn, Corporate Marketing Director, continues, “Community members can bring food to any of our locations and drop off their items in the designated red bins. For every five items of food donated, Hawthorne CAT will provide a complimentary ticket for the November 23rd football game.” (SDSU Aztecs vs. Boise State Broncos).

Sidd Vivek, Department Head - Development & Communications, Mission Valley YMCA, says, “We’re proud to partner with Hawthorne Cat and encourage all members to make donations at any of our Mission Valley YMCA locations including Kearny Mesa, Mission Valley, Downtown & Hazard Center”.

Jeff Bolitho, General Manager of Aztec Sport Properties concludes, “We are honored to have Hawthorne CAT as a corporate game sponsor and to be affiliated with the San Diego Food Bank. Please help us score a few touchdowns for those in need and donate your food items today.”

Hawthorne CAT will be accepting food donations starting Friday, November 8 through Friday, November 22, 2013, during normal business hours. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis.
