Livefyre Launches Real-time Image Search and Photo Upload for Comments
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 06, 2013 -- Livefyre, provider of the leading real-time conversation and social curation platform, today announced that it has rolled out a new Photo Upload capability to users of its StreamHub and free Community Comments products. With this tool, users can quickly search and select photos from their mobile photo library, Google Images, their computer hard drive or social network accounts, and insert them into a post on any Livefyre app, including LiveComments, LiveBlog, LiveChat and LiveReviews.
This new feature allows users to upload an image in their comment from a number of sources, including public image searches on Google, as well as Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Picasa, Box, Dropbox and Google drive.
Livefyre founder and CEO Jordan Kretchmer stated, “Imagery is a huge part of how stories are shared online. Each day, billions of photos and videos are shared on social media. Most commenting providers only offer the ability to insert photos from your local drive, but we have expanded our capability to enable them to search and select photos from every one of their images libraries in the cloud, in real-time. Livefyre is excited to offer this new feature to both our Enterprise and Community customers to enhance the commenting experience on every site in our network.”
This new feature is included free of charge to all Livefyre customers, across more than 550 enterprise customers and 65,000 community installations.
