Glasgow, UK (PRWEB UK) 6 November 2013 -- Easyspace, one of the UK’s leading domain name registrar and web hosting companies, is sponsoring Start-Up Summit 2013, the biggest event taking place in the UK during Global Entrepreneurship Week later this month.
The Scottish-headquartered web hosting company is a key sponsor for the Edinburgh event which will bring together some of the UK’s most dynamic and successful entrepreneurs to share their start-up secrets with the next generation of business stars.
Up to 500 entrepreneurs are expected to attend the summit at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh on November 20th. Speakers include the 20-year-old US founder of My Social Cloud Stacey Ferreira; Fraser Doherty who started successful 100-percent pure fruit jam brand Superjam while he was still at school; Gregor Lawson who co-founded Morphsuits, the world’s largest costume company; Abigail Steven, founder of Think Recruitment; Gavin Oattes one of the UK’s most respected motivational speakers and Fergus Ewing MSP, Minister for Energy, Tourism and Enterprise in the Scottish Government.
Sarah Haran, managing director of Easyspace, said: “We have helped many start-up businesses to establish themselves online by providing them with web hosting and domain names so we are delighted to be sponsoring the Start-Up Summit which gives them direct access to practical advice from those who’ve already done it and succeeded.”
Easyspace is giving everyone who buys a ticket to the summit a domain name (.co.uk, .com, .net, .org.uk, .biz) and email hosting package free for one year.
The Start-Up Summit is organised by Easyspace email hosting and domain name customer Bruce Walker through We Are The Future, a social enterprise he set up while studying at Edinburgh Napier University.
Bruce Walker said: “We are delighted Easyspace is supporting SUS13 and providing all our attendees with a free domain name. The Scottish Start Up Summit will give entrepreneurs of all ages the opportunity to learn from the experts and fast-track their business knowledge, so it’s fantastic that companies like Easyspace can help make this happen.”
Easyspace is offering a 25-percent discount on tickets for the summit. Go to http://sus13.eventbrite.co.uk/ and use promotional code EASYSPACE_sus13_discountcode at the checkout.
