Outer Banks Vacation Rental CEO Becomes Board Member of Major Tourism Association
(PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- Resort Realty, a leading Vacation Rental Management and Real Estate Sales firm on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, is proud to announce the election of their CEO, Mike Harrington, as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA).
VRMA is a global membership of vacation rental professionals and suppliers, and provides its members with meaningful education and powerful promotion so they can skillfully strengthen their businesses; elevating the industry and ensuring superior guest and homeowner experiences.
Since 2007, Mr. Harrington has led Resort Realty as CEO, and has been heavily involved as a member of VRMA since 2005. He has served on the association’s Conference Planning Committee since 2010 and was an initial member of their Certified Vacation Rental Manager task force. Mr. Harrington and his firm currently oversee the daily management of over 500 individually owned Vacation Rental Homes. In addition, Resort Realty now employees approximately 50 Real Estate Sales brokers from four office locations in the Outer Banks towns of Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Duck, and Corolla.

Mr. Harrington holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a MBA from East Carolina University’s School of Business. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of North Carolina and a member of the National Association of Realtors.
