Court-Ordered Auction Pulls in Record Prices for Pennsylvania Land, Oil/Gas Rights Event
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- As the result of a strategic auction marketing campaign by United Country Real Estate through Tom Mullen & Associates, LLC, Jelliff Auction Group and MineralMarketing.Com, over 222 acres of land and oil and gas mineral rights in Susquehanna and Bradford counties, Penn., sold at a court-ordered auction Wednesday, Oct. 30 at record prices. The sale offered six parcels in Pennsylvania’s Marcellus Shale Gas Play, some of which fetched as much as $16,700 an acre, which is believed to be a record for both counties.

The auction drew 38 live and online bidders from Alabama, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia. There were well over 80 people total in attendance. The event brought in $2,448,600 for the seller.
