The Granite House Hires Former Resident to Work in Admissions & Marketing Department
Derry, NH (PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- The Granite House is pleased to announce that Patrick Jones has joined their team as a Community Outreach Representative in the Admissions and Marketing Department. Jones is a recent graduate of The Granite House program.
“We’re thrilled that Pat has decided to come on board as a staff member at the Granite House,” said CEO Michael Smith. “We have seen tremendous personal growth in Pat over the last ten months while he was a resident at the house. I know that he will make a great addition to our team.”
As part of the Community Outreach team, Jones will guide potential Granite House residents and their families as they transition from residential treatment or detox facilities into an appropriate extended care or sober living environment. He will also work to educate addiction professionals in New England, and across the country, about the Granite House and its three-phase program.
“I am honored to join the great team already in place at the Granite House,” Jones said. “Working here is especially gratifying for me, because it gives me an opportunity to give back to a place that helped to save my life.”
Jones is a native of the Washington, D.C. area. Before joining the Granite House, Jones worked in Washington as a Government Affairs and Communications Specialist for the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Bus Association. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
