The new My Resident Network mobile app for iOS and Android devices includes an updated user interface for greater ease of use, the ability to see live balances and detailed rent charges, easy creation and monitoring of maintenance requests, and access to a real-time community bulletin board for increased social engagement. The app recently won the 2013 Multi-Housing News Technology Choice Award for best resident mobile app.

Ocius is also showcasing its convergent billing and utility expense management services, both designed to increase net operating income for multifamily property owners and managers. Convergent billing combines all resident charges into one easy to read statement and increases recovery of utility expenses while accelerating payments by residents. Utility expense management reduces energy expenses and outsources the administrative burden away from the property for improved efficiency and accuracy.
